Team Doris caught up with the fabulously fashionable, Melissa, behind @renovating_in_heels. With Instagram redefining the fashion industry we were intrigued to find out more about Melissa's story and style.

Q: Who is your fashion icon?
A: You can’t go wrong with a classic style and Olivia Palermo does it so well, she always looks so effortlessly chic. I also love the edginess of Ferne Cotton and how she puts outfits together. 
Q: How did your #saturdayoutfitshare start?
A: Fashion is my thing, I just love it. People would compliment me on my outfits and ask where things were from, so I thought it would be a nice idea for all fashionistas to be able to share an outfit they loved on Instagram for others to get some inspiration and recreate a look or find out where they could buy the items from.
Q: What has been the best thing about your Instagram following growing so rapidly?
A: It’s allowed me to meet so many likeminded people from all over the world who I have a real connection with. It also means I now get to work with some truly wonderful brands, which is fantastic.
Q: If you could only wear one accessory for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: It would probably be my black Gucci Marmont bag. It goes with everything. It's been such a great purchase, I’ve definitely got my money’s worth out it.
Q: How do you think styling & accessorising differs in England & Dubai?
A: I didn’t realise how much I loved autumnal dressing until I moved to a hot climate. I miss winter boots so much. Now it’s floaty dresses and sandals all day every day, luckily I love a dress! Gone are the days of layering, but now I can wear a nice summer hat.
Q: What is your favourite My Doris product & why?
A: That is such a tough one, they are all really beautiful. The fresh water Pearl jewellery is gorgeous, but I am in love with the new cherry collection right now-it’s super cute.
